3D City

3D Models and Base Maps for Public Works, Transport and Civic Amenities Management
B2INGG provides 3D City infrastructure Modeling services for city governments, state and local bodies that are faced with large urban growth. To meet their demands for expanding existing and creating new infrastructure, B2INGG creates intelligent 3D city models of urban areas that represent terrain surfaces, buildings, vegetation, infrastructure and landscape elements as well as related objects. We capture data using 3D Mobile LiDAR & UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) / drone for creating 3D base maps. The captured data is either in the form of images or 3D point clouds. Depending on the inputs, the data is processed into meaningful 3D models with details on attributes, measurements, location and so on using 3D city modeling software. Such data models are a goldmine for various sectors like Architecture, Engineering & Construction, Transportation and Public works. Additionally, these models form the basis for the creation of digital twins, that help cities to plan, test and monitor their physical, economic and community structures.

B2INGG 3D City Infrastructure Modeling Services

B2INGG captures and provides the 3D city modeling data that governments and administrative bodies require to enable better spatial planning, design, and management of public works, transport and civic amenities. B2INGG has an extensive experience of mapping over 20 million buildings and roofs across the globe. Having mapped 2000 sq. km area of buildings, terrains and vegetation using LOD 300 with an accuracy of 15cm and even lesser depending on client demand, makes us one of the most preferred providers for 3D modeling.

The importance of Location Data and Smart Growth Urban Planning

Central and federal governments, state and local bodies as well as governing councils need to understand their environment to constantly improve and prepare for the future as best as possible. Location data enables such as “smart growth”, which is a great win-win for megacities and the people who live and work there. For example, B2INGG ’s urban maps help the government bodies to focus on compact development, correct usage of land where space is limited. Urban planning becomes critical for urban growth management in creating most sustainable environment practices. Using land in a most effective way and also help in planning more open land for ‘green space’ to preserve waterway and wetlands. A ‘green space’ for sure provides natural beauty and also helps in maintaining air and water quality and slows the effect of climate change. Smart planning also focuses on restoring infrastructure: as infrastructure ages, it becomes less reliable, causing inconvenience like delay in transport due to traffic congestion, repeated power outages, safety hazards, such as unstable rail network or bridge. Smart city planning focuses on building in existing neighborhoods-repairing roads and bridges, upgrading water and storm water drain.
